The course is not one to overpower, but is more of a thinking man's challenge, with strategy the key to overcoming the considerable obstacles. Bryn Meadows was established in 1973, and has since come to the fore as one of the best golf courses in southern Wales.

The signature hole is the 213-yard 12^th, where players must fly their tee shots over a menacing lake, and is a proposition that will challenge even the low handicappers. Also of note is the monstrous 2^nd, which at 561 yards from the tips, is a hole that only the very longest will be able to reach on two blows.

Bryn Meadows is a most enjoyable layout that boasts one of the most picturesque backdrops anyone could hope for.
